Our Vision:

At Brackenwood Infant School we have a calm and nurturing environment in which all children are happy, secure and safe. The learning that we provide is fun, stimulating and challenging and enables all children to become resilient and independent learners, ready to take on the world. All of our children develop a clear understanding of what it means to be a positive member of society and thrive to develop their own community and beyond. The shared vision of the governors, staff and families is that by the time our children leave us they will all be able to:

1.     Read and write and solve mathematical problems at a year 2 standard.

2.     Learn and retain knowledge from an ambitious curriculum.

3.     Develop their own ideas about the things that they learn.

4.     Express their own ideas in different ways.

5.     Develop resilience and confidence in order to shape the world around them.

6.     Build lasting friendships.
